Location: Georgia | I live 20 minutes from Perry, GA and im not entering if that tells you anything. NBHA is greedy. They are slowly being pushed out by better organizations like WBRL. It's just a matter of time. |

Location: MN | Bring stall mats. I think everyone should go once. I will agree that NBHA is getting very greedy but I still had a blast last time I went. Then you can decide whether you'll go again or not.
That's my 2 cents |

| We went about 3 years ago and had a great time. It's a long week and we were exhausted by the time we got home but it was worth it. Everyone was really nice and the facilities are beautiful. We would definitely go again. |

Location: "...way down south in the Everglades..." | If you've never been it's a pretty cool experience and you can meet plenty of new people.
Biggest con I've had was that if you RV on the grounds, you may or may not appreciate how cramped it can get in the slots near the barns. We were more than a bit packed in. And yes, stall mats are a good suggestion - last year they rented some which made life much easier. Not positive if they are doing rentals again this year.
If I can save enough PTO I plan on going this year too. |

Location: Back Creek Valley!!! | We love Perry and we are from WV. Not heading to youth Worlds this year. But everyone should go to the world show just once. We went to the WBRL Finals in Feb... Wow was the weather nice!!!If you decide to go. Take a spray and wipe down your stalls to disinfect. Just to be precautious. Lots of horse events in and out of that place. |

| I live a couple of hours from perry and have never been to nbha worlds (gone to watch but never ran). I went to watch WBRL worlds there this year and was SO impressed!!!!!! I'm definitely going to the next WBRL finals.
I'll spray down my stall - what do you use to disinfect? |

Location: London Ontario | Thank you all! We will be coming from Canada - it is also more of a bucket list thing to do for us. I should have a fairly nice horse running by then and it is the 25 year anny so I figure why not! There is a large-ish group that all go down together so it should be fun! |

They all are greedy.......you just have to decide which or what greed you are willing to put up with and pay.... |

Location: MO | I have been the last 2 years and will be heading down again this year. Also went in 2010 and 2012 or 13 (can't remember right now). It has become our yearly vacation and we LOVE the facility. Def rent or bring stall mats.
I think you should do it at least once and like you said, it is the 25th anniversary, might as well. ;0) We meet so many awesome people. In 2015, my SO and I were in barn row with all the Canadians. lol. It was hilarious, us from MO, and EVRYONE else in that row was from Canada. We even got to attend a retirement party for one of their horses. :) Trick or Trot is fun, and the past couple of years the weather has been AMAZING.
I think the shopping has went somewhat down in vendor alley, but it is still really decent. If you want to go, run and have a good time, then do it.
And as far as the greed aspect, I think every association or producer has to think of themselves. They have to make money or we wouldn't be able to do what we love to do. It sucks that it has to be that way but it is what it is and I will continue to run with whoever makes the most sense to my situation. |
