I am riding a Loomis type bit and curious the difference in feel and response of the two compared.

I'd be interested to know what others have to say. I've used a loomis on one horse, and currently have a horse I wanted to try a no hit on...
The loomis was used on a very bendy horse. I liked it.

They are very similar but the no hit bit almost seems to have a bit more power to it because it's on metal shanks. I'm not saying it's severe by any means, but it's just not as flimsy. You get more whoa and I don't think it gags them quite so much since it has the chin strap. A no hit bit is basically like a hybrid of a loomis and a shanked bit. I really don't know how to describe it, but hopefully it kinda makes sense. I just know that I love mine.
