NJJ, Chan does usually call and wish me a good day, and last year he went on his own to the flower shop and got me a dozen roses. It was the first time he did it and I cried---because it was sweet but also because that was something his father never failed to do for me on any special occasion right up until our divorce. . . I miss the good things about Chris; I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to mess your happy thread up or get maudlin.
And yes mam, Miss Roxie, the kids' birthdays are what's special! I only have Chan (and of course Lula Bell is ours too!) so I try to think of "cool" presents---and usually don't succeed |

Awe thats so sweet of Chandler, I love it when my boys get me something, I love flowers are neat house plants I can put out on the back porch are yard.  |
