If we do not keep our hearts in check with our Heavenly Father, it won't be long until we attempt to occupy His place on the throne. Rebellion is a EVER-PRESENT reality in the heart of unbelievers and believers as we reflect an attitude of entitlement rather than the spirit of humility.
Solomon had it right when he wrote Proverbs 4:23, " Keep your heart wi all diligence, for out of it springs the issues of life". If you wish to benefit most from,your time in the Word, reflect more on personalizing God's truths in light of your own heart as you see to understand the depths of His truth. The warning is accurate ; we attempt to set ourselves against The Lord Psalm 2:2
As we humble ourselves and seek His rule in our lives. We must be careful and sensitive to our hearts' wickness that seeks to rule and reign in our lives. As The Lord gives us a glimpse of the Kimg He has sent to rule v 6 , our hearts can be trusted to realize that He indeed is our ONLY HOPE. In Psalm 2:1-12 , He becomes the HOPE of the nations that has FULL CONTROL of the earth v8. Therefore, BE WISE...
SERVE The Lord WITH fear(love) vv 10-11. You WILL BE BLESSED as you put your Trust in Him v 12. For it is WITH God ALL things ARE possible.
Father God, guide me today to do ALL things that will bring glory and honor to Yôu Amen. Have a VERY BLESSED Friday and Weekned ALL!
