We are ALL on our own spiritual journey. God allows experiences to bring bring growth, in our relationship with Him.
Dealing with my Dad, that has dementia, can be overwhelming, heartbreaking, and with a lot of pain. I have to step back, hold my tongue, swallow my pride, and stop begging God for relief from this nightmare. And begin asking God to accomlpish His eternal purpose thought this hurtful situation. Basically, praying YOUR WILL, NOT mine be DONE. As I follow Jesus's example and surrender my wishes in exchange for God's higher purposes. I am able to focus once again on my life, peace replaced the angst I'd felt. And my ability to have a "normal" routine restored. Patience, peace, comfort restored.

Father , guide me today to do all things that wll bring glory and honor to Yôu. Lay Yôur hand over my dad, Bill, my Mom Virginia, give peace, comfort, through Yôur grace(favor). Lay your hand over Jerry Branum, as he starts radiation on his head, cancer tumor removed. Linda, breast cancer. Candy McIntire back surgery. Jackie Dube, shoulder surgery due to horse accident. Our nation, our President, soldiers, Father bring peace, guide ALL in Yôur Righteous path. In Jesus Name Amen   | |
