... Who would it be? Who would be your top pick to buy a finished horse from and why?

Hallie Hanssen. I've watched her run here at the Northern Futurities for years. She has a style I think I could easily ride behind.

Latricia Duke. I've lost count of how many of her futurity horses have made the NFR. Molli Montgomery looks easy to ride behind too.

How Come?

Maybe because she has pretty well won at every level. Why not?

that's a well thought out, and concise reason.

thank you.

Why? Because I said so, that's why.

We bought one from Molly. She was the most broke 3yr old I've ever had the pleasure to own. I'd buy another from her in a heartbeat.

Almost every horse she had her hands in training became a 1D horse. She has ridden a wide variety of bloodlines and won on them all. She doesn't have to have own sons and daughters of greats, either, she can turn almost any of them into a winner. She never pushes them in their training, and is a lot slower paced than a lot of trainers. I really think that shows in her horses, they always walk in and out so calm, even when they're babies. Her horses are very honest and I think she's an honest horseman.

Apparently you keep up with who is winning at the big shows. If you are looking for a horse, that is something to research. I think Jackie would be very willing to help you get with the horse, too. Don't know her well but that family is pretty tough.

 Gotcha, that's an interesting perspective.

Thank you for answering.

I'll second Latricia.  Her style would be easy to follow it looks like to me.  Bo Hill would be another I would look to if I were buying a horse from a well known program.

Danyelle Campbell. Like many listed above she trains 1D winners year end and year out.

I'd have to say Ryann Pedone. Love her style and she has been very successful! I would love to go ride with her for a day.
