Promise me everyone that if BHW survives longer than Dave and I do that this tradition continues. We cannot forget this day - it is our generations Pearl Harbor and it is etched on our hearts forever. Thanks!

This is such an awesome thing to do and I wish more companies would follow suit. I think that with the time that has passed, we are starting to see a generation that were small children, or not yet born, when our country was attacked and do not realize/feel the impact. It is our job to remind that generation and future generations of our History, where we have been as a country, what we have overcome so that we can have a clear path to where we want to be. You have to know history to ensure that it does not repeat itself. We need to keep this, and many things, in the forefront. I pray for, and are grateful to, those individuals that sacrifice so much to protect this country. I pray for all those lost and affected personally by 9/11. I pray for our country, military, police, first responders, elected officials and their families and loved ones. God Bless.

Thank you for the moment of silence. I will never forget. Where I was, the immense amount of confusion and the haunting emotions I had never felt at such a young age(12).

I will never forget out military and all of their sacrifices. To those who lost loved ones that day. I will always remember the speech by Bush that day. "Terrorist attacks can shake the foundation of our biggest buildings but they cannot touch the foundation of America."

God Bless USA

Thank you. I am afraid that as a nation, we have forgotten. I am connected with four schools in two districts. No one mentioned it.

I was 10 at the time, sitting in my 5th grade classroom. I remember the moment clearly when my teacher got a phone call and they rushed to turn on the TV. I remember it being turned on moments before the second tower was hit and my 5th grade teacher yelling "No" as the plane hit the second tower. I also remember being very confused as I had no idea what the World Trade Centers even were, it was an odd day that day at school... My parents were so shook that night and I just couldn't understand what was going on. I have tried to educate myself as I have gotten older... no one seems to even be talking about it anymore. A few years ago I would see more "tributes" on FB to the fallen but today it was sparse.

I will never forget.
