I have never seen a cremello by him and that is your only option for 100%. Best bet would be to call Vickie Adams or pull a progeny report on AQHA and see if he has any stallions that are registered cremello.

Breeding for color is the absolute worst thing you can do.

Β Well since the foal will be kept and not sold plus by fwf then I'm going for color. It's not like I'm wanting to breed my mare to the first stud I see.

Β Why are ppl on here so rude? I'm breeding my mare to a Firewater Flit stallion and keeping the foal. So why does it matter if I try to get a foal that is a something other than sorrel? "Other than this" is uncalled for. I'm not looking for any or all cremello stallions just ones by Firewater Flit. So if you don't know if any them keep your crude comments to yourself.

I don't know a lot about how to get high percentage of color. But there are several NICE FWF stallions that are buckskin or palomino? Wouldn't that help your chances? Next year I'll be doing the same. I want another FWF and will be breeding a black mare hoping for a buckskin but will be happy to just have another FWF.

I am not sure if they have a 100% color producer unless cremello?

I love a red head but my favorite FWF studs are Firewater Finale and Strait Firewater. I have seen them both compete and love them all -around. Bother colored themselves so I assume that helps but I have also seen them produce sorrels.

He’s not a 100% color producer but if you are looking for FWF son Repete Offender is definitely my choice. He has a great mind and is insanely athletic. Not to mention his pedigree.

If you want a buckskin you need to breed to a horse with both cream and agouti. IF she's genetically black, without an agouti, it means she can't provide that to make a buckskin. She can only contribute the black gene. You have to go to a stallion with the other two genes.

Oklahoma Wildfire is at Bedonna Stallion Station. I think he's by a son of FWF, but that might be as close as you can get if a Perlino is your deal breaker.

Firewater Fooler and Strait Firewater aren't 100% color producers but they definitely offer some extra colors that help bring that percentage up. FF is pally under the grey and SF does offer some white if you're open to APHA foals. They both produce very nice foals, too. I haven't seen any direct get of FWF that are double dilute.
