mgander-
Any cons that you have noticed on your RES boots? How is the sizing compared to PC? Thank you!
Only complaint...They take maybe five rides to break in. By break in I mean the Velcro isn't SUPER stuck to where I worry about ripping it off. It's also a little more conformed to your horse's leg after then. I wish they had maybe a tad more padding in their standard boot but I've seen my horse hit himself and no cuts or bumps. I just over worry. Their newer boot is called guardian where it has extra protection on the inside if your horse tends to knock their canon bones. Those will be my next purchase. The top Velcro is replaceable on all their boots if it would tear and the Velcro on their bell boots are completely replaceable.
There is no sizing besides their standard size and them they have larges, usually used for hinds.
I love these and it keeps their legs so much cooler to boot. Pun intended lol

I am of the opinion that it has to do a lot with how hard a particular horse gets in the ground. My horse that is four-wheel drive, cows very low and runs to the bottom of all ground always gets dirt in his boots
(tried many brands
) or polos. My other horse with a different turning style and who stays on top of the ground does not get dirt in the same boots as the other horse is wearing.

Ortho Equine! I've never had dirt or sand get under them.

Agree!!! I haven't found a boot that "never" gets dirt in it.
