I have had great luck with MVP's Calmex-V. I used it on a horse I was seasoning this summer just to make barrel races less stressful for her as she was getting used to hauling.

I also use the Calmex-V powder on my husbands gelding who is very sensitive to touch and human interaction. Works wonders on him, which is why I went to the paste as a pre-performance deal.

A good friend of mine had really great luck with getting her horse a PHT poll pack, she would leave it on while hauling and right up untill she bridled him up. He used to never eat/drink on the road and he would be SUPER nervous. She got him the poll pak and we actually caught him laying flat out sleeping at the show. She uses that and the In the Zone paste by Animal Element, and holy crap ive never seen something work so well. He used to have gate issues, super nervous, couldnt be on him in the arena unless it was his time to run, just a mess and i watched that horse walk in the gate with his head down and focus. He still fired just as hard and focused so well!

I use the PHT Flymask when hauling, standing at the trailer or in a stall at shows. Worked AWESOME!

she hauls good and is great at the trailer. Walk her towards the alley and her heart pounds so hard you would think it going to jump out. I can get off and let her snuggle her face in my arm and sing to her she calms down for a min but when I get back on the pounding starts back.

I have good luck in the past with the Smart Pak Ultra Calm. Really helped a spooky gelding I owned.... and they have a money back guarantee if you don't like the results.

I just orders their regular calming supplement for my new horse. Hoping this works just as well as the other one.
