Keg shoe with heel extensions.

^^^This. Definitely NOT rim shoes. They'll sore up hocks real quick especially if there is already a problem.

I run my horse with rim shoes all around. He has problems with his hocks fusing.

He has to have rims or he slips behind, so that's what works for him so that's what he gets.
