Use your stiff brush and brush it off with it.

Depending on the material, a brush can damage it. A pressure washer or the spray from the car wash can help. Just don't use soap.

We use our pressure washer. I do not use soap. I also clean daily with a rubber curry comb... I use 5 star pads.

Yes a brush could be bad for your pad if you keep brushing in one spot, use your know how and brush lighty to get the hair off, if you can go to the car wash if you have a way to get there that works to.  But with all the shedding hair a brush works better for me, but during the summer with all the dry sweat and dirt I like the pressure washer.

Shower and I walk on the wet pad, then take a plastic brush to remove the hair

We take ours to the car wash also. Just don't use the soap or wax settings, lol!

I use the strip hair saddle pad saver, I LOVE IT..... It takes all the hair off with ease, and DOES NOT ruin your saddle pad AT ALL!! love it! then if it was muddy it will take off most of the mud and ill go through and hose off the bottom and leave it out to dry. works with boots too! Love it!
