Location: on the fine line between insanity and geniusness | I like them on something that has a good bit of wither. If you have something that’s even the least bit round backed they roll like crazy! I rode the sensor flex by classic equine and really like them once their broken in. Classic equine also has a new “zone” pad that looks pretty interesting. It has zoombang inserts in it; zoombang is what’s in professional football players pads. It’s supposed to be the highest level shock absorber available. |

Thanks. I was looking at the contoured one but it still doesn’t have a lot of contour/ wither relief imo. I was feeling of them and it’s pretty stiff feeling maybe they take a while to break in. Idk.
I tried classic equine zoombang pad years ago. Didn’t care for it at all.
The pad will be used on a colt and two other horses with various builds so it may not be my best choice it sounds like. |

| Love the esp pads. I use a felt bottom one for everyday riding, and a closed cell (neoprene) bottom to run in. The neoprene holds onto the horse better, especially as the horse warms up. But not good for long rides; gets too warm. I would definitely recommend them. |

The wool top ones suck, they are bulky and don’t really conform to a horse’s back, but the felt tops are not bulky at all. I use the 3/4 inch and love it. It’s my go to pad:) |

| wow I am not happy with classic equine right now! I ordered the 31 x 32 felt top esp and its only 30" long. then I ordered the 34 x 38 navajo top esp pad and its the same thing! under the navajo is the esp pad and its only 30.5" long ummm and the navajo is 34 well that doesn't help! ughhhh! I love the feel of the esp but why the heck don't they make a real 32" long pad? well i'm calling them monday lol!
anyone with other pad suggestions send my way! |

| We have one that my husband swears he likes best on his heel horse. I ride the same horse in the same saddle with a 1 1/8” 5 star and get along just fine...
But hubby’s his own man and saddles his own horse...
The one we have is about shot. He’s interested in trying one of the new zoombang ones...
I’ll stick to my 5 stars for the most part... |

Had one. Horse bucked the entire time we loped with it. Went and resaddled with a 1/2” 5 star, no bucking. Tried several times with same results, wanted it to work out since so many rave about them. Sold it.
Know many who love them, my experience doesn’t make them a bad pad, but shows they aren’t for everyone. To each their own. |
