Location: Bandera, TX | I understand that if you spend $135 on a tack set the quality won't be even in the same universe as for example Luan's Leather, etc. But for the price, does it hold up okay? Would you buy from there again?
Thank you. |

| My daughter got a set for Christmas last year from her very non horsey father. .. much to my surprise, it's pretty nice and very pretty! So far it's held up great. She got a headstall and breast collar. I wouldn't hesitate to get another. |

Location: Louisiana | I think most of their sets are Showman.
My mom has a set that she uses, actually she just uses the breastcollar. But it is still in good shape! Obviously the leather isn't the best quality, but it should still last a couple years.
The biggest thing is the bling conchos, the ones that are on the sets are obviously not swarovski...you could buy a few Rodeo Drive conchos (or even make them yourself) to upgrade the ones they come with and have a MUCH sparklier set!!
Wanted to add....on the headstall, I wouldn't use the conchos that come with it to hold the bit on...I have seen several break. Either buy normal chicago screw sets, or higher quality conchos (heavier metal). OR you could just add another hole and use a leather tie.

Good points. Thank you. |

| I love my showman tack sets from Crazy Cowgirl shop. The last showman set I had I used for at least 3 years and it's still in great shape. I just switched to a fringe set this spring.

Location: The best kept secret in TX | When you get the set in, oil it. Take the hardware off and soak it in neatsfoot. Let it dry and put a waterproof conditioner on it like Skidmore's. Wipe sweat off with a rag when you finish riding and it'll last for a good little while, any tack set will if you take care of it.. |
