| I don't have time to do all the research on is nylabone bad or this and that.
Can someone please just give me some bulk reasonably priced options for dog chews? Puppy teething is killing me at the moment!
Are bully sticks bad or good? Educate me on the dog chew market please! |

| Beef femurs, call your local meat locker and see if they have any you can buy.
Deer antler sheds are good too! |

Location: Illinois | I use antler sheds for mine or bully sticks, but only ones that say made in USA. I used to get pig ears, but not from a store. I'd go to the butcher, get the ears & then we'd smoke them in the smoker. A little different than store bought, but my dog loved them. I haven't done that in a long time though |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | I don't know if they make actual chews, but I only use the treats from Tractor Supply called 4Health. They are made in the USA and grain free. |

| Bully sticks, moose or elk antlers, Whimzees, Greenies, pig ears. I don't buy anything from China. My dog LOVES his Kong. I fill it with lots of things, peanut butter, cheerios, kibble, and it keeps him occupied for hours. They make all different sizes, for puppies, senior dogs, big dogs, etc. I would NOT feed the Nylabones.

| I give my dog pig skins. You can find them at Wal-mart or some grocery stores around here. |

| I found some the other day at petsmart and I can't remember the name of them, but they were bulky chews and safe to eat, easy to digest.. I think they lasted only a few hours though.. I have lab pups... so far my back porch steps are the only thing holding up against those little turds! I made the mistake of leaving my flip flops on the porch last night.. ya'll can figure out what happened lol! They are beasts! I let them out early this morning, we had a storm last night and a cardboard box blew into my yard, it's probably in a billion tiny pieces all over my lawn. I decided to come in and have a cup of coffee before going to clean it up |

Location: In the Hills of Texas | if you have a very aggressive chewer, most anything isn’t safe for them. Our cattle dog and Am Staff both ended up with a broken tooth fro chewing on a nylabone. Years ago, we use to but knuckle bones and gave them to our dogs when we could supervise them and never had any problems.
Our daughters jack russell had to have surgery because he was impacted from a greenie. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I would think pig skin and pie ears would be the same as rawhide, but I can be wrong.. I would go to you local butcher shop and see what they would sell you. |

Everything I have read about them says they are easily digestible, which is why I switched from rawhide.

Location: Kansas | My corgi gets pig ears, I do not give her rawhide. She absolutely loves her pig ears! Also she loves "ham bones" you can buy at walmart that have some meat on them, they stink but she eats the heck out of them |
