Elite Veteran Posts: 863	I recently bought a double j flex tree and i also have a circle y flex tree lisa lockhart, but I've left them in my trailer so far this winter, never even thinking about these sub zero temps could these rubber trees crack now? I emailed circle y but no response yet. I'm fearing the worst being rubber and the below zero temps we've had.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 380	It's most likely fine. The issue is that they could become brittle in the cold making them easy to crack. I don't use my flex tree in the winter and in the summer I just make sure it's not sitting in some odd position and keep it on a sadfle stand. Born not Made Posts: 2937 Location: North Dakota	Huh. Never even thought about it actually. My tack stays in my trailer 24/7 and I live in North Dakota. Granted, I don't do a lot of riding in the winter and won't ride when it's below zero. I too have a Lisa Lockhart flex2 saddle.

Not Afraid to Work Posts: 4717	I've also never thought about it but I have had my Sibley for 10 years and seems sound as far as I can tell. I am in MN but don't ride when its below 20s. Otherwise my tack is in the barn or trailer year round.

Member Posts: 30	I have ridden the Circle Y Marlene Flex trees for years and currently have a Lisa Lockhart too. I have never had any trouble with mine in the heat or cold.

The One Posts: 7998 Location: South Georgia	I've got a Circle Y Special EFFX and I've never noticed anything crazy. I keep mine in the trailer all year. I will say though, that if it's lower than 40, no riding is happening for me! lol
