Subject: Saddleright pad question

I am going to order a Saddleright pad. My question is what size? Do most people use the regular western style or the round barrel saddle version? Is there length options? I have a 5 Star and it is 28" as my horse is short backed. I have a square skirted treeless. Just want to make sure I order the correct style/size. Thanks!

I own 3 of them, they last a long time for sure but do get really stiff. I have just the square styles.

Square skirt 29", love mine too! I have a 5 star and a saddleright. Both excellent long lasting pads!

I have one of each. My square one is a 28" if I remember correctly. The round one is small, like you can barely see it stick out from under my saddle. But it does its job and was $100 brand new on Facebook LOL.
They will last forever and are easy to clean. I don't use liners with mine but I typically clean them every spring and my older one still looks great after 5 years or so.

I'm a dealer, and own 10-12 of them (mostly a dealer because it's all we use).  I like 28" for round skirted barrel saddles, or kids saddles.  I have 30" for square skirted barrel saddles and kids rope saddles and 32" for rope and ranch saddles.  I like a some pad sticking out in front and back- like 2-3", but that's just my preference.  The "bars" are the same length in any pad size. Some of our pads are 20+ years old and function as well as the new ones!

The company would be glad to make you a pad like you want for your short back horse.  Do you ride a smaller saddle like 12 or 13 inch seat?
