LIVE2RUN - 2017-12-13 3:09 PM Wow a new Stingray plus now a Lockhart saddle, cool. Did anyone in Vegas go to the Martin booth and try the new Stingray? I have been waiting on the reviews!!
Ryann Pedone has been riding in them and gave them rave reviews

I want to meet a Stingray saddle in person as well!Β  Super excited to see what comes out for Lisa as well!Β

I sat in one and didn't love it. But I can't specially say what it was but comparing comfort to the others, it wasn't my favorite. Not a great review but just my opinion.

I would like to see a Stingray, FX3 and Crown C all together and sit in them all. Just to feel and feel the difference. I like mt FX3 but the new Stingray is tempting.

I ordered a Stingray for my own horse. It's suppose to get here in February. I'm excited especially when we'll probably have 5 feet of snow on the ground by than.

Yeah, I saw that ad in BHN that Lisa was teaming with Martin now. I'm curious what they will come out with.

I have one of her Circle Y saddles for my horse Red. He's big a thick like Louie so it fits him fantastic and I love it. However, I do agree the quality of the saddle is not what it should be. Leather is not that great, part of the stirrup leathers are nylon instead of leather, etc etc. Am dissappointed with that, but it fits my horse great and feels comfortable to me.

With that said, I just bought another Circle Y saddle this fall that I found to fit my other horse Shotgun. It is from their Performance XP line and wow, the quality is so much better than their "regular saddles". Super nice leather, good craftmanship, and a lifetime warranty on the tree. I don't know why they don't make the rest of their saddles nice anymore like that .... but I suppose it has to do with money.

I was told by a dealer that Lisa's new "Fearless" saddle with Martin has more of a flare at the front for larger shoulders and no rock to the bars. I'm chomping at the bit to try one of these, as that's what my horse needs. I am a little nervous though that it's a flex tree.

I can't get past the visible stirrup leathers in front of the fenders on the new Stingray (and some other saddles as well). I want those bad boys hidden!

I have a Circle Y lisa and like it, but agree not the highest quality. I messaged Martin for a spec sheet but the said they didn't have one yet and would only tell me the gullet size.

I will Jackie.  The Circle Y Lisa fits her but I really detest the quality.   I checked out the new Lisa at WESA market in Denver and looks and feels really good.  Hoping it works on the mare.  They are spendy though and I'm getting it wholesale through the store.  Still putting a kink in the check book.

Happy for Lisa for being able to put her name on a better quality saddle....Hope you will love your new saddle!

Me neither!  It drives me crazy.  That's the only way Martin has figured out how to keep their fenders up under you and not rocking your feet back to your horse's flanks is to run the bottom leather through the skirt and keep them pulled forward.

It is such a pet peeve of mine. I hate it. My eyes instantly draw to that darn strip with holes. I can't do it. Some of the Circle Y's and even one of the Double J's has it like this too. Can't stand it.

Is it a flex tree like the circle y?

There is nothing to fear about a flex tree saddle. I have ridden them for years with no issue. (the circle y marlene and lisa)
