Psalm 55:1-5 Give me ear to my prayer, O God, and do not hide Yourself from my supplication. Attend to me and hear me; I am restless in my complaint, and moan noisily, Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked; for they bring trouble upon me, and in wrath they hate me. My heart is severely pained within me, and the terrors of death have fallen upon me.
The psalmist is facing trouble. He was restless because of the voice of the enemy and the pressure of the wicked. David was anguish he longed to give and flee the situation. He longed to have wings like a dove so he could fly away and live in the wilderness to escape trouble. If you have known the heart in the kitchen faithfulness, you ave some time just wanted out. However, the Lord does NOT call us to flee but to LIVE FAITHFULLY. We are NOT to run but to STAND. Do not take the coward's road, but find COURAGE in God. Do NOT long for wings of a dove today. PERSIST!
For it is WITH God ALL things ARE possible. Mark 10:26
Father God, guide me today to do ALL things that will bring glory and honor to You AMEN
