| Our daughter of Big Brown got the best birthday present last night, a pretty little filly sired by Hired Gun! She’s sorrel, but already has some grey hairs around her muzzle and eyes. Peanut was 335 days along and ready to burst; everyone is happy and healthy!
I can’t get enough of this firecracker 
ETA: sorry if the picture quality isn’t too great, I resized them and now I’m not sure why they aren’t showing up in the post itself.

She is quite a feisty little thing! I can't get enough!
Jake was on an emergency and luckily got back just about ten minutes before the feet started showing, and it was a super quick and easy labor, so it all worked out perfect!
We already picked a registered name, Little Ms Pistol, and her barn name will be Baby Pea until she grows up and turns into a monster, then she'll be called Sweet Pea!

Location: Arkansas | I think everything is going according to plan---easy birth, healthy foal and momma, pretty girls, and cute to boot barn/registered names. You and J (and again, Peanut) are on a roll 
Little sidenote---when I had my first ultrasound with Chandler, my best friend was a labor and delivery nurse, and she looked at it and christened him "Peanut" because he was the size of one and looked just like one!! It stuck til he was probably 2 or 3, and Nell still calls him that to this day. So I feel a real connection to this special event  |

After everything that has gone wrong with our Peanut, I definitely feel blessed that this was an easy entrance into the world for Baby Pea!
