| Good Magic was looking really strong, he was my pick to win. I wish he would have had a better finish, but second place still isn't bad. Baffert didn't look too confident before the race, but Justify handled the sloppy track well.
There are always some awesome back stories with these horses! |

Well darn I was hoping my fella would win the race.. Did'nt watch was outside redoing pens with hubby and really I kinda forgot about the race , but not into watching racing much anyways, I hate it when something gos wrong.. But Good Magic had me rooting for him, I like good names, lol.. |

Same here! I am a sucker for good names and grays with my husband coming from the TB racing world, he is way more into the stats than I am, so I always get teased.
Also, Funny Duck was my pick for the Pat Day Mile, based on name alone, but he won! Once I saw he was a son of Distorted Humor, I was more impressed.
