So my gelding is 13 and we have never had this problem since I bought him as a 6 yr old. Vet said his ligaments are stretched out and has me giving him bute for 7 days, going up and down the ditches(flat land country) and walking up and down a slight hill we have by the house. In 7 days I call him back to see if he will need an injection. Is there anything else you recommend? I have never dealt with this. He doesn’t do well with magnets, but I was wondering if something like Draw It Out or the Stressline products could help him.

Just wanted to add he has just been a pasture horse for the last couple years, so he isn’t in shape.

Has he been blistered?

Nope, it’s the first time this has happened and the vet wants to wait to see if bute and exercises will work instead.

We had to do surgery on one - it turned out totally sound.

blistering, estrone, splitting...... depends on the severity and what your vet thinks is the best route.

How bout hand walking over cavelettis since you are on flat ground too? I have no experience with it but would Tight Joints Plus be a good fit for this particular issue?
