Anyone know good places to consign a barrel saddle? Tried Cool Horse and Teskeys they say saddle isn’t desirable so too hard to sell. Saddle is a a custom Cactus, fully tooled with ostrich in lay seat (never used) - everyone is saying not what buyers are wanting? Maybe they’re right. Don’t want the hassle and fraud risks of selling it myself.

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas		Do you have any local feed stores that may consign for you? D&D here in Seguin will take saddle's on consignment, but they dont sell very fast,  most of the used saddles are so over priced people will just buy a new one thats out on the floor. I would just put a ad up, should sell fast if not over priced.

The problem with consignment is by the time you get the money you want and the shop gets their 10-20% the saddle is overpriced and no one is interested.

Scams are pretty easy to see through. I’ve sold a lot on FB and CL, but had the best luck just hauling it with me to races and setting it out with a sign on it.
