I have a nice 5 year old started riding this spring after the nasty winter broke end of april when i starting riding her she stsrted doing something wierd for her. When going to the right she would start throwing her head and kind of jumping up and running threw the bit a little. Think of mr ed talking with his head while riding. Let her off for 5 or 6 days lunged her she did the same thing to the right called vet. Went over and she qas sore on right front like a splint. She said give off 3 weeks so i gave her a month. The lameness gone. She needed shoes so i shod her she didnot like nailing on sore leg. Now another month has passed no lvisable lamness. Does not react to testors. When riding all she does is sling her head like mr. Ed. Even with side pull. Dentist not able to come for another month. I dont think its tooth. Cause even with riding with a double rope side oull. This filly is fancy broke. Does not want to be riden wven after being on previcox for a week. Suggestions. Hard to video and ride.

So currently she has shoes on? Are her angles correct? Is she body sore anywhere? Eliminating teeth is another good deal

The first thing I would do is xray her foot on the side that she was sore on.

I just sent a mare home that was sent to me becauee owner said she kept flipping her head while riding her. I only kept jr for a short time because she felt sore in her front end. She had fractured coffin bones on both front feet.

This, my gelding would flip his head, his angels were off.  X-rays and a correct shoe job and he is now happy.
