Doggy Diaper Designer Posts: 2322 Location: WI	Does anyone have experience with a horse that creates and crackles in the back end if so what did you find that it means or what exactly is it in my experience it's always been harmless but I still don't know what it actually is I'm hearing

Neat Freak Posts: 11216 Location: Wonderful Wyoming	My Audie Murph does it. I'd say his snapping and popping started when he was about 3. I have mentioned it to several vets along the way and none have ever felt it was an issue. He is 7 this year and better than ever.

Elite Veteran Posts: 1079 Location: MN	My gelding "pops". I've mentioned it to several vets and they say its just like us cracking our knuckles. Nothing to worry about unless your horse is lame obviously. My horse is as sound as they come & has never had a single injection.
