1 Thessalonians 5:23 May your whole spirit, soul, and body be persevered blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our spirit is that part of us that will live as long as God lives. It is our spirit that connects with God's Spirit; our spirit bears witness with His Holy Spirit that we are His children. Our only means of truly knowing God is by our spirit. It is impossible to have a spiritual relationship with Him bags on mere human knowledge. As Jesus said " God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth" John 4:24. Without a relationship of spirit to spirit, we can NEVER KNOW God because, the natural man does NOT receive things of he Spirit of God." 1 Corinthians.2:14 for it is WITH God ALL things ARE possible.
Father, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You. Lord, HELP me today to be more spirit conscious and less body conscious. In Jesus Name AMEN
