Are they really worth it? Will they stay on if a horse is turned out to pasture?

Yes, they are worth every penny and then some. I swear by them , even my husband noticed a difference in the horses stomping. Mine are on all the time and are on when they are out in the pasture, no troubles having them stay on.

Yes they are worth the money. I have kept them on 24/7 with no rubs and only once in a while did I find they got one off.

I purchased 3 sets. I was bummed, the first day 2 of the 3 horses had a least one legging ripped off. Didn't do any damage to horse or wrap.  Haven't tried them again, maybe this weekend.

As long as the bottom is tight and your horse doesn't take them off and hide them....then yes they stay on and work great LOL

Yes! They work well. Once in a while I'll find one in the pasture, but it's not torn or damaged.

Exactly!!! I tried keeping them on my one gelding and he kept taking them off and hiding them in the bottom of his water tank.

I just ordered my first two sets.  I plan on spreading them out to 4 horses.  It's been SO WET that ALL my horses have scratches still this year.  Hoping keeping the flies off will let this stuff heal.

My whole barn has them and wear them 24/7, even the mini. The only one that ever bothered them was my gelding- he would take them off in his stall lol

Not to steal this, but those who use them, how does the sizing work? My horse measures exactly 14.5" around his coronet. Do I get the Mediums, or would those be too big around the bottom?

Get the mediums. They'll sit just above the coronet and are adjustable. They don't fit tight.

Yes! We quit buying any other brand and they last us all fly season. We ride in them and turn out to pasture. We usually have pretty tall grass and we have small, brushy trees.

I personally won't use them anymore. I don't know what my horse was doing but he got one of them got all twisted up, rubbed all the hair off under his fetlock. His leg leg swelled up like a balloon. Like I said, not sure how he managed it, I'm sure it's rare, but I won't use them anymore on any of my horses.

Mic doesn't like them on his hinds either. I have now realized I have to buy broken in ones from people for him because of his dropping fetlocks, the new ones rub him. So I take ones off people hands that are on their last legs that they are going to throw out. He loves those ones lol.

adding my opinion as well as to their worth .... YES, YES, YES!! my horses are turned out 24/7 and stay on. my horses do not stomp and are quite happy. I used way less fly spray and it's only on their bodies. The only thing I have to do every day is take off the back, left side as somehow my gelding's poop goes in that one...but other than that, they don't come off ....
