My hubby hooked up a big blue stock tank with a pool filter and cover so in the afternoons, after every one is ridden, I put on my swimsuit, do all the chores outside and dunk every so often!

Yep we are lacking rain too, with all that rain in our area week befor last it was skirting us too, we barely got 1 inch while everybody else was getting 3 are more inches and really needed that rain

We’ve been sitting in the upper 70s/low 80s for our highs. But fall to around low 60s when the storms roll thru. We get some pretty impressive lightning shows though, which unfortunately have been striking up some fires. Yesterday we had three spot fires close by, as well as a small house fire. Hoping the rain keeps coming though! Our forests were shut down for several weeks due to how dry it was. They just opened last week. Not sure why I can’t get my pic to show up “here”. My curly hair was from another planet. D, I couldn't imagine living with that every day you are wonder woman! We're still at 106 heat index at 7:10 pm. . . . I'm headed out to check fish, and my hair will be a wet sweaty mess when I get back in---but I've got fish duty all night so a shower will have to wait til early morning. (I'll look like Cousin Itt by am, so I feel your hair pain!!!)
