Location: California | So many stallions are being sold. Makes me wonder whatβs going on. Or weβre all just as broke as the next. |

I think they were just part of Danny's downsizing, he gets the money from the sale and the money from standing him at VF still. He probably made more than I do in 5 years at my full time job on that sale of those 2 |

I don't see Eddie's value going down. He is a solid producer and they are probably freezing semen as fast as he can make it. I'd sure like to know the sales price. |

| Wish the new owners were standing him. I would breed to him again if they were. I bred a wonderful colt by him & Miss Cowboy Lady, dam to LR Designerwood. Blake & Traci Monroe bought him from me because he is a 1/2 brother to Maverick. Simon is a wonderful colt & will hopefully make his debut in the juvenile at the BFA. Love Eddie. Glad he has new owners. |

| I read an article on Barrel Horse News about this, and how the two stallions will continue to stand at VF for their advertised fees. The article mentioned who the purchaser was:
"For immediate release: Victory Farms in Ada, Oklahoma, would like to officially announce the sale of two of their outstanding stallions Eddie Stinson and Born Ta Be Famous to Cody and Luann Johnson, owners of Twisted J Ranch in Stephenville, Texas.
...
Both stallions will continue to stand at Victory Farms Stallion Station, Inc in Ada, which will continue to offer the same great customer service and mare care their clients have always received. Both stallions will have frozen semen certified for international export available for the 2019 breeding season. Customers are encouraged to contact Victory Farms to book early to both stallions at their 2018 fees."

Great mare care. I beg to differ. |

I guess it's a good thing you don't do PR work for VF then. Huh?
