Subject: Beading

Location: Northern Ontario		I know a few of you on here do beading too. I want to make most of my xmas gifts this year and my sister really wants a beaded over and under. How wide should I make the beaded piece? Like how many beads wide would be enough to wrap around?

Location: Arkansas		That depends on the size of your beads, the size of your over and under, and if you will be attaching to leather or putting the beads straight on the over and under. Lots of variables.

I use size 11 beads and attach to leather first (usually on a thicker Berlin leather over and under). My norm is 13-15 beads wide. I have done as wide as 17 though.
