We recently acquired a sweet broodmare and trying to decide who to breed to... she’s a granddaughter of Firewater Flit
(first one we’ve had so not sure what the best crosses are for FF
).

Wanting to stay under $2000 stud fee, but under $1500 would be even better. What studs would you suggest? What are the magic crosses for FF?

Some dash to fame stallions should be a good cross.

Awesome! That’s kind of the direction I was leaning but wanted to see if that’s a smart move.

I have two gd of Fire Water Flit that I crossed with our son of Royal Quick Dash. I can’t wait for the babies to be born next spring.

I too have a FWF grand daughter and have chosen Lucky Wonder Horse for her. A bit over your budget but a good individual with a tremendous pedigree.

Some of the best crosses for fff is Jets Pay Day. Nonstop Firewaters best progeny was out of a daughter of Jets Pay Day. So my Stallion Jets Last Payday would be an excellent choice. Future Fortunes and Select Stallion Stakes eligible

Oh my gosh he’s so nice! Love the mare line. I don’t know about doing a buckskin on palomino though - might be too likely to get a cremello or something right?

I didn’t realize that! I’ll check him out.
