What does your vet charge for an ultrasound for a tendon/soft tissue/ligament type injury and what is included in the cost? thanks

Lot depends on where you live to. I'm in southern CA so 50.00 isint bad. But poor new vets that have to take huge loans to buy this equipment can suck. I use a vet with an established clinic, and I haul to her most of the time.

for soft tissue stuff, our prices range from like $75-$125.
Repro ultrasounds are like $28
And then colic abdominal ultrasounds end up around $75-95 I think off the top of my head.

We just had one to diagnose a bowed tendon.
Office visit/lameness exam/sedation/ultrasound was $105 total. I think the Ultrasound was $40 of it.
We are in SE Iowa.

Last one I had was around $120, but that was including an office visit and shot of lutalyse...I don't remember the actual breakdown though..sorry! Oh, and from WA =]
