Location: South Georgia | Move shoulders and hips off of leg alone, collected walk/trot/canter on loose rein, arcs, spins, soft face, great whoa. A horse conscious of the riders body and willing to take clues based on weight shifts. A good rhythmic backup also. Just a truly broke horse.
And I’m so pleased to have one. Now, if I could fix his spookiness, I’d be all set. Lol

Yep. This -- and one more thing - - jumps right into the trailer when you point him at it. |

WORD. Also, super broke on the ground. I'd think most truly broke horses would be, but there is nothing I cant stand more than a horse that doesn't pay any attention to my cues or body language on the ground. |

Location: Louisiana | For me, a horse that never has any doubt what I'm asking him to do. They're soft and supple, give easily and it just takes a light touch to move everything where I want it. Not touchy, but responsive.

| For me a fancy broke horse would be able to:
Go on a loose rein (in a straight line)
Bend and flex whole body both directions
Able to do circles at walk, job and lope
Pick up both leads easily / change leads easily
As other said - have manners =]
Good solid whoa
Gives to any sort of pressure
Can sidepass, not against a fence (is a plus anyway, hah)
