My vet recommended using an Equiband on my young horse to promote muscle development and to teach him to use himself in a more balanced fashion. It basically consists of two heavy duty rubber bands attached to a saddle pad. http://equicoreconcepts.com/system.html

Has anyone tried one? Results?

I have one! Love it. Use it on each of my horses a few times a week for conditioning. The main reason I bought it was to rehab my mare coming back from a sacroiliac injury. I use it with my equiami on the lunge line and under saddle both going over ground poles. Under saddle I do a lot of different drills too... like serpentines, long and low, extend and collect, lateral movements, big small circles and spirals. Any way to work different muscle groups since they are resistance bands. Hope this helps!
