Location: Missouri		Has any of you barrel racing producers used the option to text draw #'s, Time etc using this software. If so, can you tell me how to set it up to work?

First question - do you have to use the Fastenter system for it to work?

I have sent an email to Gene, just seeing if anyone else uses it and how it works

Hopefully someone has some good insight on this issue - I'm pretty curious as well.

I haven't used it, but I've been trying to convince myself to give it a try every year. I'm pretty certain, from prior conversations that I've had with him and others about it, that you do have to use the fastenter system to be able to use those features. Our race doesn't use that aspect, so I know less than nothing about it.

Location: Missouri		OK! After help from Gene! If you have the BRA program you will have to be signed up on the Fastenter, it was easy to do.

Then the only do side I see to the texting of draw numbers, etc. is you will have to know the cell phone provider of each contestant that wants to be text. then when you enter them you click on the reminder button and then in the email field you will put cell#@............. (each cell provider has a different extension)

After you do the draw you then click a button and they are sent! after the race you can hit a button and it will send them their time you can also send winning amt!

I did a test run and the girls I played with loved it! So we will try it at out shows and see
