Location: the land of dust & sticks | what’s the best shoes to wear?? And how long have they lasted you? I bought a pair of Brooks last year.... maybe April or May and they have been great however in the last month or so my feet have started hurting me again. I hate to buy new shoes again these still look new but can’t keep going with my feet hurting. Opinions on clogs? Brooks and clogs are both expensive and I really don’t want to have to buy a new pair every year |

| Hokas...hands down best shoes ever. I started to develop plantar fasciitis last spring, which led to a stress fracture in my right foot. I 100% believe Hokas saved my feet, have been wearing them for nearly a year now and my feet feel great after every shift and I work 12 hr shifts.
ETA I was fitted for these shoes, they put me in a size up from what I "thought" I wore and I replaced them after 6 months

Location: the land of dust & sticks | I almost tried on a pair of those today. I went back with brooks this time. I’m just not used to having to replace shoes so often, I usually wear the same pair several yrs then make them barn shoes but I guess I’ve reached the point that support matters and I’m going to have to buy new shoes more often |

Location: Central Texas | I know it's cliche, but I love my Danskos. I've used athletic shoes like New Balance and Asics. I've also use the Alegria (i think thats how it's spelled) and they were ok. But I keep going back to my Danskos. |

| When you are on your feet all day you wear the insides out of the shoes, outside will still look good, kind of like tires, you will need to replace at least every six months. Take care of those feet. |

| I waitress part time. The best thing I have found was to get a pair of custom made insoles. It doesnβt seem to matter the shoes I wear as long as I have them insoles. I got mine at my chiropractor office. They were pretty spendy but they have held up very well. Good luck itβs frustrating finding something thatβll work! |

Second the Adidas vote. I am not a nurse, but stand on concrete all day. These are good. My orthopedic surgeon wore work boots, and that is what I usually wear. |

Location: Nebraska | Idk where my reply went. I wear nikes but I have 2 pairs that I rotate so never wear the same pair 2 days in a row. I really just want to wear my twisted x moccs though. I literally walked 40 miles in Vegas for the nfr last year and my feet never hurt once. I just canβt bring myself to wear them with my grey scrubs haha |
