I would agree that the seats in Roohide's tend to run a little big, probably because of the way they sit you and because they are a hard seat. I had my mare fit a couple of years ago and was able to sit in a 14" and I usually ride a 14.5" and it felt great. I couldn't justify being in college and spending that much on a new saddle, so when a 14.5" used came up for sale with the tree I needed, I jumped on it. It fits and rides great for everyday riding. But for making runs, the 1/2" makes a big difference and I feel like I get lost in it and can't get back up in a run like I'd like to, but the only time that 1/2" makes a difference is in a run.
