So my mare would try to take a chunk out of you if you even looked like you were going to touch her sides, did an ulcer treatment and she's back to enjoying scratches. I'm finding my cranky mares are ulcer-y. Otherwise, I've used raspberry leaves and mare moods from silver lining herbs.

Animal Element has a product called mareilicious or something like that. It works really well helps chill them and doesn't take any run out. It also works well for hateful geldings as well.

Couldnt agree more!!! My mare really responds well to regumate and has been on it 3 years now, 365 days a year!!! LOVE MY NICE SWEET MARE! None of the herbals even remotely worked!

I'm in the same boat here, I tried a bunch of herbs/products and nothing has made a change in one of my mares except Regumate!

Its expensive but well worth it. I actually tried a generic called ovamed but it was not as effective.
