Veteran Posts: 253 Location: SoCal	So my mare would try to take a chunk out of you if you even looked like you were going to touch her sides, did an ulcer treatment and she's back to enjoying scratches. I'm finding my cranky mares are ulcer-y. Otherwise, I've used raspberry leaves and mare moods from silver lining herbs.

Veteran Posts: 109	Animal Element has a product called mareilicious or something like that. It works really well helps chill them and doesn't take any run out. It also works well for hateful geldings as well.

I actually tried a generic called ovamed but it was not as effective.
