Location: CTX | Not sure, but one of my mares will pee everytime I feed.... I guess if he is happy and healthy (no changes in drinking behavior, not dehydrated etc) I wouldn't worry to much about it. |

| Yes, horses give you a greeting pee when they like you and accept you as the leader.
My stallion does this, his momma did this, and I have two young fillies that do this. Funny that I have an old broodie who does not and the new broodie - the rocket mare - does not either. Wenches. |

Location: MN | That is too funny! I never knew that. He is a very good drinker and very active, playful. We've had a few stern 'talks' but takes to everything very quickly. It makes sense! My gelding poops almost every time he sees me....not sure what he's trying to tell me
Thank you everyone!

My gelding does this too! Every morning and evening, he pees before he walks over to eat, lol. |

| I didn't know this! My standardbred does it, but I assumed it was from track training. My gelding does it. The boyfriend's horse does not be he is always battling to be head honcho with anything near him, so this makes perfect sense. |

Location: 31 lengths farms | I had the opposite issue with my mare when we were having issues with her bladder stone. Every time she walked to the area she urinates in in her pen I'd run to see if there was blood, or if she was straining, etc. After me peeping in on her every time she lifted her tail she got sick of me and refused to pee if I was "stalking" her. |
