| Mine are all taken care of. Transfers signed, everything. Person knows the status. Beneficiary is nonhorse so it is easier for a horse person to handle that part and also knows. I donβt want someone selling mine for $1000 because they have no clue. | |

Remember the movie "Who Will Love My Children" about a woman dying of cancer worrying about who would raise her kids.Β This post made me think of that.Β
My best friend died of cancer at 555 am yesterday morning. She has three girls ages 21,16,and 12. She also has a beautiful bay dressage horse named Tango. She told me last Wednesday that she needed to get him back to his previous person. His previous person said she would like him back if he ever needs a home.Contacted her today, she doesn't want him back : ( ( ( My friend thought she knew for sure where he would be going. Now he is up for sale, and who knows where he will end up.:* ( ( (
Β I bought Tango today,I couldn't even think of him ending up in a bad home.He is a big 16.2 hand beautiful bay.I don't do dressage, but he does also like to trail ride and swim.I think my daughter will really love having him.Im blessed to have him.

Awwww thats great Mary, I would have done the same thing, in fact I have over my years. I have bought the horses because I knew them and the owners and when the owners could not keep them for some reason I bought the horse, one I rehomed to a awesome home and the other I kept because of age.. Its just not knowing where they will end up that makes us heart heavy, so glad that you bought the horse now you wont have to worry and you can sleep better, many hugs
