Hebrews 12:1-2. Let us run looking unto Jesus...

We need our priorities in order, giving us a forward mindset, and bringing passion to our lives, focus helps us know where we are headed. Paul said, he was pressing toward "the goal". The Greek for "goal" is skopos, from which we get our word scope. Lke the scope on a rifle, focus enables us to get our goal and priorities in the crosshairs. Focus enables us t know where we are going and how we are going to get there. Focus is the fountainhead of successful living. It helps us to begin our tasks with the end in mind. So what is your goal in Christian living? What is in the crosshairs of your scope? When we begin to focus ON Christ Jesus alone, He will HELP us put our priorities in order, give us a forward look, fuel our passion, and let us clearly SEE the end from the beginning. Keep this Word picture in your mind today, the crosshairs of a scope. And make CERTAIN Jesus' priorities REMAIN at the CENTER of your target.
Father God, guide me today and ALWAYS to DO ALL things that will bring GLORY and HONOR TO You AMEN
