Location: Wonderful Wyoming | I don't know. I'm thinking bay. Looks like all my bays I have had born. All my buckskins, even the ones that turn out to be a dark smutty color are born super light buckskin. Just like this filly...

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I'm thinking shes going to be a bay also, but you never know sometimes they can fool you.. She just seems to dark to be a buckskin, but she may lighten up to be more of a lighter bay..I dont think shes going to be a dark bay.. But she sure is a cutie, Love her in her little baby blankie, love seeing these babys. Is this your mares first baby? What color is the sire? Shes cute as a Button and just as pretty

She's a 2017. This is the funny looking buckskin I had born last year. 1st is fairly young, later in summer and then winter when weaned. She really changed colors. I color tested her just to be sure she had the cream gene. The OP might want to do that, she might luck out now that I look at my filly and get a dark buckskin out of the deal. I have 5 bay mares, all in foal to 3 palomino stallions (not particularly planned that way lol) so maybe will get more buckskins LOL

Location: Kansas | Sire is Blazin Jetolena so a sorrel. Dam is own daughter of FWF out of a grey mare I owned who was by Kips Big Shot (sorrel). The baby blankie was actually a 28" dog coat. Mare wasn't due till 3/3 and foaled 2/8 with balmy temp of 27 degrees and 6 windchill. We were planning on bringing her in the barn the day she foaled. Spent the first couple days dealing with frostbite and getting her to nurse, but all seems good now. thought we might loose an ear, but it's up and solid. She has such light coloration underneath I'm still hoping, but I'm happy if she's healthy! Filly definetly was imprinted with all the handling she got on her birthday LOL Mare has foaled before with another owner. However, this is her first for me!
