I'm all for that.  If it's considered a good thing by the majority of citizens, of course Democrats will fight it.  

WA State has a bill in the works for the same thing! I hope it passes!!

Up here in the north daylight savings time makes a huge difference for us. Having daylight till 10pm in the summer makes our miserable winters worth it. I wouldn't mind staying on daylight savings time year round.

I agree with you 100 percent.  Also, I don't know about others, but the switch in the fall disturbs sleep pattern.  

As Long as it is the spring ahead time where it will always be lighter longer in the evening even in the winter! lol

I'm with NJJ,, I dont care just stick to one way and one way only, I hate the time changing, you get use to it being one way and then you have to change and I hate it, especially for all the kido's that go to school..

One of my favorite things about AZ is that they don't do daylight savings time. I hated the time changes while we lived in ID and MT.

i have to giggle a little.... cause where i live is on the central/eastern time line.  litterly my phone will change timezones 7 times on the way to work (six miles) depending on which tower it hits.  compile that with a spring forward and fall back.  hell nobody knows what time it is.  AND it was only a few short years ago that my little area used to not spring forward or fall back... we stayed and switched timezones.  half the year we were in central and half we were in eastern. 

It needs to be done.  One of the stupidist things Carter ever did. 

Split the hour in half and call it done. 

The changing time is beyond stupid. 

I saw a report that they see a rise in heart  attack’s and other health issues in the weeks following the time changes- you would think that would be enough to do away with it.

Didn't the changing originally have something to do with the supposed fuel shortage in the 70's?

(just saw where Trump also thinks it's a good idea)   

Wyoming has a bill that, I think, has gone through to make our change permanent, BUT we have to have 3 surrounding states change as well in order for it to take effect. Hopefully this passes and we can just be done with it.
