| Here in CO, or newly elected Governor is standing the state on its ear with the new Bills he’s trying to force through. First, he tried to pass legislation during the middle of the bomb cyclone blizzard on CO oil and gas. He knew there would be little opposition since people were basically stuck at home. Now...the state is in the middle of his Red Flag bill. This bill completely stomps on the 2nd and 4th Amendments and eliminates Due Process. Plus it puts law enforcement in danger since they can be told to do, what amounts to, an unlawful search and seizure with no warrant. The bill is claiming to be for helping those with mental health issues stay safe. But it’s gun confiscation and doesn’t address the mental health issue. Last night I went to our County Commissioner’s meeting. Over 150 citizens showed up. Out of those people, only 3 were there to show support of the Red Flag Bill. The rest were very much opposed. As of last night, there are now 30 out of 64 counties in this state are now 2nd Amendment Sactuary counties are are refusing to uphold this unconstitutional bill. With less than 12 hours-notice to the public, the Senate Appropriations Committee passed gun control legislation, House Bill 1177. Hopefully most states aren’t being this sneaky. But with what’s going on, you’d better be very aware of what is happening at the State level. I’m sure CO isn’t the only one doing things underhanded. OH! He’s also trying to pass a law that makes CO a popular vote state instead of electrol college.

| https://www.rollcall.com/news/colorado-joins-effort-to-elect-presidents-by-popular-vote-skip-electoral-college Right now, the number of electoral votes of states supporting this are 190. They need 270. The above article explains the thought process and what it means. |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | It's time the people took back control of the country the way the Founding Fathers intended it to be ran. People in politics are the scourge of the earth imo. Our last governer in WY was a Democrat running on the Republican side. He wasn't very well liked. I'm hoping this new one is a good one. Coal, Oil etc are a big part of WY and the jobs it offers. I have seen CO turning more and more like CA. It's sad. If a person/politician think so much of Socialism, I think they should have to move their family to a Socialist country and see how well that works out for them. |

| I have so many thoughts on this... The cops DO have a choice and dont have to enforce this, for starters they have no duty to protect and they also need to learn right from wrong and haver a mind of their own. I dont know anyone that would do something completly unethical, against their own morals or against the constitution just because their boss told them to do so. Grow some balls and stand up for whats right. To me the reason these poiticians are pushing this is they are a protected class with no fear of repercussions and I believe if they keep pushing the limits they will realize their protection isnt near good enough. |

| I'm also in CO and actually sent in several letters yesterday on SB188, the family medical leave insurance program, requesting it be opposed by the senate finance committee. Theres an Independent Expenditure Committee that is trying to recall him. They created a facebook group, a couple actually, "Recall Colorado Governor Jared Polis" that tells more about them. They are trying to recall him, which can be done after 6 months in office(mid June), but need 650,000 votes to pull it off. I believe each county has a facebook page that is trying to get people organized and collect signatures. |

Location: Do I hear Banjos? | I would be angry if my state officials decided to render our votes meaningless by agreeing to give all electors to the candidate that wins the popular vote nationally. It's basically allowing California and New york and a few other hugely populated urban areas to decide who will be president...to heck with the rest of the states and the people living in them. We are not one big country...we are a union of many states and ALL states should have a real say in who will be elected. This would amount to voter suppression of epic proportions. The democrats are being incredibly short sighted. If enough conservatives and morderates wake up and go vote against the radically left socialist dem candidates they have currently filling that clown car...they could very well lose at this game. |

| I read the local newspaper on the meeting last night. Even the little small town newspaper reported with a severe left slant. The reported stated that the one lady for the bill was met with loud applause and appreciation (actually people were just being polite). He then went on and basically said all those opposed were all about conspiracy theories that had been disproven time and time again. He almost made it sound like everyone there was an idiot redneck heathen that had no brain cells. So...I responded: Perspective with where you stand on an issue is a funny thing. Reading the way this reporter viewed the people’s comments has me questioning if we were even that the same meeting. But I see myself in this picture...so I guess it was the right place. He fails to mention that with the conspiracy theories, there was also the facts about how this bill violates the 2nd and 4th amendments along with due process. He fails to mention how Sheriff Powell talked about his unwillingness to do , what would amount to, an unlawful search and seizure with no warrant. He also missed the gentleman that was a police officer in Aurora and was part of the movie theater shooting that spoke against this bill. Or the gentleman that encouraged people to call and voice their opinions to the people elected to represent us, instead of just sitting on the couch doing nothing. So while there might have been conspiracy theories, there were more well thought out, researched, conscientious thoughts and facts than what is being reported. |

Location: Slipping down the slope of old age. Boo hoo. | I feel like I am repeating myself -- as I speak to various groups and individuals.... 'the time is NOW for you to become involved in your local and state politics!" I know politics is disgusting to most, BUT if we do not step up, show up and sound off, lots of horribile legislation will get passed!!! The other side counts on folks not paying attention, not being educated, failing to become involved and not showing up. As much as I dislike it all, in the past year I have become active on a local and state level. It is eye-opening to get out there and learn what is really going on -- and, I agree that there is lots of 'low-key' (aka silent) legislation proposed -- just slip it on in and pass it before anyone realizes our rights have been hacked away..... they are chipping away at our Constitution....it's not quite as painful when you only get paper cuts versus just getting your arm lopped off..... I am actually my county's state committee woman now and seriously considering running for a delegate poisition to the national convention..... never say never. :) |

| The dems are running scared that they might lose again to Trump so they are doing every under handed thing they can think of to try and help their cause. They are banking on the citizens to not pay attention. I think we need to be way more worried about all the elected officials BESIDES the President! |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | The Democrats are pulling out all the stops. Ruth Bader-Ginsburg’s days on the bench are probably numbered and they are facing a distinct possibility of a 6-3 majority of conservative justices on the SCOTUS. For that, and MANY other reasons, it’s crunch time. They need some rules changed, and they need to harvest votes, change laws, and circumvent the constitution. Here’s how: 1. Keep the flow of illegals going....resist the wall & promote sanctuary cities. 2. Allow felons to vote. 3. Push to lower the voting age to 16. 4. Continue to capitalize on identity politics....blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, women, LGBTQ, etc... 5. Abolish the Electoral College, in favor of the popular vote. 6. Increase the number of SCOTUS judges. Anyone can see what they are trying to do. They are desperate. |

| Now the CO Democrats are wanting to undo the TABOR Act and keep taxpayer refunds to spend on education and transportation. Basically since these items aren’t being passed when they are on the ballot, they are trying to take away the Taxpayer Bill Of Rights. I’m so mad...I could spit nails. |
