              Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | My chickens lay all year round, but one spring a couple of years back I was wondering where all my eggs were going because a few hens were not laying in their boxs, and then I was moving bales and found all these, lol..  |

That's to funny. A couple of mine have been known to leave poo balls in their grain buckets or water buckets. We are down to 2 hens. The bannie flys on top of the tack room to sleep & I'm sure when the day comes to clean the crap off of the top of that room, I will find a zillion bad eggs of her's The older austrolorpe is the hay feeder layer. Nothing better than fresh eggs :) But the chicken poop is not worth it. When these 2 go, I will buy my eggs from the chicken people in my area. |
