I was wondering where everyone would live if the biggest requirement we that there is lots of barrel racing and rodeos. I’m thinking North TX?

The DFW area has plenty of jobs, lots of barrel racing and rodeos, but it's a huge area. I've lived here for years and years, and there are barrel racers on the north side of DFW that I've never heard of. 

Think I would forget about Nebraska 

when I lived in Texas I noticed something was always going on. Keep in mind that you will pay a hefty property tax in Texas yearly if you purchase a home.
