| Has anyone ever heard of platinum making a horse grouchy, sensitive when being brushed? I started mine this week back on it since I’m going to be hauling harder and my mare is fine but my gelding seems to be a little touchy. Never heard of this happening before. Thanks ! |

| No worries thanks ! Mine is just the regular not the CJ. We have had some pretty weird weather changes here lately. That might be it to. Going to take him off it and see if he goes back to normal. |

| I've gone thru 3 25lb buckets and have never had any issues. Only complaint I've ever seen or heard is a horse not wanting to eat it at first. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | Does the Platinum have a lot of sugar, the only time I have seen a grouchy horse is when they are getting to much sugar in their feeding program or its caused by pain. My sensitive gelding gets a magnesium supplement and that helps with the sensitive issue.. |

I honestly do not know what the sugar content is in it. I dont think it would be really outrageously high but it does list molasses in the ingredients.. this would be a question for a platinum rep they are awesome to talk to and are very helpful |

| I don’t think there is a lot of sugar. My horse has been almost 2 days without platinum and he seems to really be back to pretty much normal. Lol. Who knows. Maybe he is just ultra sensitive. |

Maybe you just didnt brush him in all the right places and you ticked him off that day |

He is already on forco and has always been on a very strict ulcer control program. Thanks ! |

| It's a possibility the platinum just doesnt jive with him. You know him best and if something's off, you'll notice. We all know what works for 1 horse or 100s of horses might not work for 1 I was feeding Animal Element detox because of all the rave reviews and I just wasnt noticing anything different as much as I wanted it to work! My horses began turning their noses up at it and I found it to be "dusty" |

Yea each one is different ! I had him on the platinum GI last summer and didn’t seem to bother him. Lol. He got his last dose Thursday evening and by this evening he seems back to normal as far as I can tell! Lol. |
