I need some tips to help my mare keep her inside leg up underneath her in her 2nd barrel. I've noticed lately she drops that hip and doesn't have a nice take off coming out of 2nd. She keeps her leg under herself on the 3rd, but I think I've caused her to drop it going around 2nd becuase I have been turning her too soon.

Make sure you are "sitting" and actually asking her to make her turn.
