Just received my Silver Lining order and my mare won’t touch the stuff. I mixed it with whole oats and coconut oil. Also added some molasses to it and she still won’t touch it. Thought about mixing it with applesauce and syringing it but I don’t think she’ll be too crazy about that every day. Any ideas??

Kidney and Feet & Bone. I think it’s the garlic she’s not liking.

I have this problem with all the Silver Lining supplements.  My horses will eventually eat it, but its after about a week than they eat it all up.

Just feed a tiny bit for the first few feedings, I never start out with the full dose, I let them get use to the new taste befor I start putting the full dose in their feed.

Apple Cider Vinegar.

It took a little bit but now my horses love it and I haven't had them refuse anything with it in it.

My colt wouldn't eat the ACV with COB mix but I switched him to Ultium and he cleans it up now.

The ACV with Mothers seems to be even more palatable to my horses too, I know it smell much less acidic too.

I feed herbs too. If they get a new one they don’t like i start with feeding just a 1/4 scoop for a few days and usually I top it with some powdered forco. They love that stuff and usually lick the bucket clean. Then I can lessen the forco and up the herbs
