Has anyone used continuous panels for horse fencing?  How did it hold up?  My horses always rub on fences so I have to use hotwire.  I am builing a new place and would like to try something new but I cannot afford oil field pipe.

We bought a place a couple years back and replaced all the old wood boards with the continuous.  Not sure where you live but we are in WA and the feed store here has 5 rail, 20' for $94.

It's a b!tch to put up.  We drilled through the rails to hang, they have fasteners, for an additonal cost, of course.  Ours has held up well for the amount of wear and tear it gets from training/board horses.  We also pen our buffalo in them.  The buffalo have been easier on them then the horses  LOL  Also, the fence we got the middle vertical suppoerts are just the right size to put hot wire insulators on!

We did have a horse go through, he didn't even attempt to jump, and tear it out.  It's even harder to fix then it was to put up and doesn't look decent anymore.  We'll have to tear out the whole row to make it look nice again.
